Hi There!
We are Steve and Carrie Tesarik. We own and operate French Creek Cattle in the East Central Wisconsin. We are living and operating on Steve’s families 6th generation farm since 1992. We catch ourselves looking around at the rich history here and endless stories that could be told. We are are the lucky ones to carry on such a long lasting legacy!
We have been married since 1990. We have two children, Sheila and Alex. Our son, Alex, helps run things and is always here to help!
We are excited to offer you our home grown BEEF!
French Creek Cattle
At French Creek Cattle we practice sustainable and regenerative farming.
We believe in improving soil health, reducing soil erosion and keeping our water clean for you.
We have implemented no-till and Strip-till planting practices since 1992. Prior to No-till and Strip till, we practiced conservation tillage and contour strip farming since the 1960s.
We have been researching the planting of cover crops since the 1980s. We have been doing moderate use cover crops since 2010 and wide scale use of cover crops since 2020.
We integrate rotational grazing with our beef cows and calves to enhance soil health through natural fertilization. Our beef cows and calves are given a new paddock of grass every three days.
We use a combination of Natural, Biological, Regenerative, Sustainable, Homeopathic and Conventional farming practices.
French Creek runs through our farm. It then goes to the West Twin River, then into Lake Michigan.
Our goal is to provide the safest and highest quality food possible from our 6th generation family farm.
